Start colorizing and see how gradually your black and white image turns colorful. With the newest layer selected, double-click the Colorize thumbnail in the Effects Browser.
Spin the knob around the color wheel to see how colors change. Stop when color looks perfect and click OK to apply. Use all your favorite tools in the Photos app and nondestructively save changes directly to your Photos library.
